Be terrified of fornication, even in the form of unclean images. ‘Every sin that a man doeth is without the body’, which means just about every sin you could think of apart from immorality does not directly affect your body. If you lie it does not affect your body. If you boast and you are proud, it does not change the composition of your body. Every sin you do is wrong; it is culpable; it will take you to hell if it is unforgiven, but it is not against the body, but this sin is. ‘He that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.’ You have taken your whole body, not just your flesh, but your mind, your powers of reason, your heart, your will, and you have sold it to something else, other than Christ. You have given away your body. Immorality is uniquely a sin against your own body. This is not about health issues that may follow fornication, although God may judge in that way as well. It is about a mysterious effect that follows from Genesis 2:24.
