We see that Jonathan knew what was right, and his conscience was clear about this. We need to be fully convinced in our own hearts about what we do, and to have consciences that are not troubled by false charges. Jonathan was a spiritual man and he had a very clear view of this situation and was not going to be intimidated by anything like his father’s hasty and foolish curse.
