And some of the charismatic churches where the so-called pastors make themselves the prima donnas, and everyone has to sign on the dotted line that they will obey them and agree with them or else. These things are absolute scandals. Do not listen to a glory seeker.
Application
As teachers and preachers we do not tell people how to live their lives. We teach conversion, yes, but not, ’You must marry her. You must work here.’ We do not run the lives of the members. Charismatics are doing this today, commanding people, bossing them around. They call it ‘discipling’ and call themselves apostles.
