2 Corinthians 7:15
Comments
Titus’ visit to Corinth had not left him unchanged and he had warmed towards the Corinthians as result of what he had seen in them. His affection for them had increased and what had increased it was their spiritual integrity. Affection among God’s people should be focused on this: we love one another because we see Christ in one another. Paul was always eager to foster love between God’s people and therefore he tells the Corinthians of Titus’ growing affection for them. Love makes us ready to please one another, and when what pleases us is to see conformity to the Lord in each other, then love also further promotes holiness.
