The apostle rejoices that he can have the confidence that they know right from wrong and will do things the Lord’s way. They won’t be bowled over by all sorts of errors and novelties. These believers had once been strangers to Paul, but now he saw Christ’s work in them and viewed himself as bound with them for all eternity.
