2 Corinthians 8:20

And this is important because of verse 20 – ‘Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance.’ No man should find fault with us in this abundance which is administered by us. Or as we might say today, no man should find fault with our administration of the funds. They were so careful that the ministers, the preachers should be above any accusation. It must never be said that they were cheating, they were taking something for themselves, taking advantage of God’s people. They would not of course, but it should never even be possible for anyone to suggest it, that they had scope to do so. And so there is a multiplicity of trusted people brought in to administer and to look after the funds. That is another reason why we cannot trust these people who are so-called Prosperity teachers with their wealth and their plundering of stewardship and funds that are given to them. They do not fit in, they do not obey the New Testament pattern in any sense.
