2 Corinthians 9:8 Commentary and Bible Study

Stewardship is a very big part of the Christian life. Wouldn’t you much rather have all grace than money? All grace. God is able to make all grace abound so he will provide for you in many different ways. He will give you assurance, he will give you understanding, spiritual happiness, spiritual opportunities, and deep friendships. He will give you so many things which are graces. ‘That ye, always having all sufficiency in all things.’ For sufficiency, read contentment – that is what it amounts to. You will be wholly content with what he has given you. You will be so pleased at the perfect wisdom of God and what he has apportioned to you, and the good works in mind in this passage are works of kindness, whether they are gospel witness, or relief, or helpfulness to one another. You will see his wisdom in what he has withheld as well as what he has given.
