2 John 1:11

‘For he that biddeth him God speed,’ that is, makes him happy, encourages him in the Lord, ‘is partaker of his evil deeds.’ Even Christians who co-operate with people who are not teaching the truth. Christians who stay in those denominations that have long discarded the truth and still tithe their money to them: they are encouraging wrong. And the Scripture makes no bones about this – he ‘is partaker of his evil deeds.’
Application
If a well-known evangelist comes to our city and has a crusade and invites all the liberals and ecumenical to be involved, and sends a letter to our church and invites us to join in, we say we cannot. We have to warn them; we are forbidden to do this. We always keep apart saved and unsaved. We must do it in a right spirit but we must not approve them. If we do, we will lose all the fruit of our work in time.
