Because you see him who is invisible in every situation in life and you trust him more and more, Christ is glorified in you. The worldling may not notice it but Christ’s attributes are being glorified in you as your trust and your solid faith is built up. When you get sick, because your faith has been built up, you trust him to see you through and you honour him no matter what, through your sickness.
Then finally, the time comes and you face death, and your faith is built up and ready for it. And you go almost gladly, certain that he is with you, and you rest in him and you are being ushered into a glorious hereafter. All through your life in every situation, God is testing and building and refining and proving your trust in him, your trust must grow.
