‘And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true.’ The KJV has chosen to translate as ‘evening and morning’, although it is the same words in the Hebrew as in verse 14 where it translates it as ‘days’.
Compare this with some of the Charismatic impostors, who constantly tell us about their visions. We read about the late John Wimber. He would be driving along in a car, and tells us that God said this to him, and God said that to him, and God showed him one things and another. He responded, ‘But God …’, and God said, ‘You listen to me. Don’t interrupt me and I will tell you these things clearly.’ It is all so easy; he drove his car; he was happy, cheerful. Visions came easily to him; all sorts the things were revealed to him. But it was not like that in the Bible to the prophets who really had visions.
