God’s people must not invent their own ways of doing things; they need to go back to the Lord’s blueprint. Much detail was given by Moses about how worship should be conducted. In New Testament times the ceremonial law is no longer in force, but we are still bound by the apostolic tradition. The elements of worship are given to us and we must not add inventions of our own.
