So God now says, ‘Go to.’ This echoes the language commanding the people to build the tower of Babel.
You see this often in church history: the hostility of the world towards the church, the church brought to its knees, almost eclipsed and eradicated, and God takes it out again and separates it. We are seeing it today: the world taking over the church, the church doing many worldly things. You go into congregations, they are supposed to be Bible-believers, and sometimes you cannot tell whether they are worldlings or Christians. The God acts and calls his people out, and separates them from the apostate churches that went before, and his remnant is removed from the world.
