Tell him you have sinned and desire and deserve condemnation and tell him you will serve him if only he gives you salvation. How will you know that he has done so? Not by feelings, for you can conjure them up. There are wonderful feelings that accompany salvation, but the strong evidence you have a new nature is that you now want to serve and love, and obey, and you hate sin. A person who was hard as nails is now kind, generous. He has a new dew destiny, a new understanding, a new relationship with his heavenly Father.
