As a Christian man, a Christian woman, a Christian young person, you have come to Christ, and you must never forget that your highest task is to live a holy life, to hold your temper, to be kind and patient, to be unselfish and helpful, to keep the law of God. You are not to sin but to produce the opposite positive virtues of all the things forbidden by the commandments. This is what we pray for and strive for every day: to be good husbands, to be good wives, good parents, better people in every sense. We need holiness to please our God and we should never forget that. Even though the veil is gone which barred the way into God’s presence, we should not forget what those symbols represented, and we should remember the holiness of our God. Holiness is essential for Christian people.
