‘I knew that thou hearest me always’ – of course, because he is one with the Father; but belief is all important.’ I prayed this prayer ‘that they may believe that thou hast sent me.’ This is so important. You have got to believe that Christ is divine; you have got to believe that he was on a mission - agreed to by the whole Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit - to fulfil the mediatorial promises, and to rise from the dead.
