This is part of his final appeal, we may believe. It is all part of it. How he appeals to their soul. You are in darkness with these ideas you have, that you should be taking the prophecies literally, speaking about a man who will be your Messiah and live for ever as a man. No, it is a spiritual prophecy, an eternal prophecy. And I have come to deliver you from this darkness of foolishly interpreting the Scriptures. He has come in as a light – it is all about divinity.
