The menial servant did not know what his lord’s great plan for the household was. He did not know his master’s business affairs.
Our yoke, the yoke that matters, is so easy because Christ has done it all. We will carry any burden for him because the great yoke, the deserving of salvation is removed from our shoulders and he has purchased it for us. But he tells us all things. This is about our privileges pre-eminently. Should that not increase our sense of indebtedness, our willingness to do anything for him? Of course it should.
