They have left the joy of the world, they have left the dance floor, they have left all that lascivious sexually suggestive dancing and self-exhibitionism and pride in the body and immodesty and all that sort of thing, and they have the joy of the Lord. It runs right through the prayer. The world has left, my joy has taken over.That is the joy of salvation and the joy of reaching out to souls. Different priorities, different life, the joy of the word. It is all different now. Those old songs: they have been destroyed, all the collection of worldly rubbish and sinful innuendo-ridden stuff – it has gone. There is a new life. ‘Now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world.’ It is all to do with the world. ‘That they might have my joy fulfilled,’ topped up, complete, made complete, made complete, advancing all the time.
