What is that glory Christ speaks of? It is Christ in you. That is clear because it is mentioned in verse 21 and in verse 23. To have Christ in us is the glory. It is not just a sentimental expression. Christ in you. His tastes are in you. You have gone off the world. You are all for the things of God. The evidence of his Spirit is within you. Your conscience moves you often and checks you when you are about to sin and you cannot do the things you would have done. There is a desire to obey God in you. Christ is in you to do glorious things. You think of him all the time, of Christ, and you look for his coming. This is the great glory – Christ in you and the evidence of his being in you by the Spirit.
