Comments
Mary now came back from the tomb a second time to the disciples, and this time came with the wonderful news that the Lord was risen, but, Mark tells us, they did not believe her. She reported Christ’s words to them but they would not yet believe in the resurrection even though Christ had several times taught them to expect it. The Lord then appears to them personally.
