Seven days later Christ appeared once more to the disciples. This is again the first day of the week, the second Sunday after the resurrection.
Christ wears his scars in a glorified body for ever, and that says something about us. When you die, if you are a Christian man or woman, and God takes you to heaven, there will be a resemblance between your new glorified body and the one you had here. I don’t know how great the resemblance will be. I don’t know what age you will appear to be when you enter glory. The age at which you died or the age of your prime or what, we can’t see into mysteries like that. But just as you could see and touch and feel the scars of Christ there will the same resemblance between us, recognising each other. Each of us will be distinctly recognisable in glorified form.
