John 3:35 Commentary and Bible Study

As far as the created world and this race of human beings is concerned, jurisdiction and power has been completely given to Christ. He is the executive agent of the Godhead – to deal with the universe and mankind. So he, Scripture tells us, was actually the Creator - he was the executive member of the Godhead who created the world. He is the One who purchases redemption – enters into the world, and suffers and dies. He is the One who is Lord of the church. He is the One who will end the world, by his appearance. He is the One who will be the Judge in the last day. And he is the One who will be the visible King of all Christian people, in the eternal glory. God has ‘given all things into his hand.’
