Comments
Christ then puts his finger on their problem: ‘Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law?’ Yes, they keep the ceremonial law, but they do not keep the moral law. The law against murder, Thou shalt not kill. Here they are plotting to kill Christ. ‘Why go ye about to kill me?’ He identifies their master sin at that time.
