The last day, that great day of the feast, was probably the seventh day, not the dispersion day, the eighth day. Jesus stood and cried out with another great exclamation.
A dying person can drink. A little tiny child can drink. It is so easy to drink. No works. I do not have to qualify because I cannot. I cannot deserve God’s blessing. All I have to do is drink. The simplest possible analogy for believing in him, and yielding to him, and repenting of my sin. No accomplishments, just receive him, believe in him with all your heart.
