Self-honour is worth nothing, but all that Christ said about himself was endorsed by the Father. He did not speak independently of the Father but the Father continually honoured him. That endorsement came through the scripture and it also came through the miracles which the Father enabled him to do. Of course Jesus Christ was God too and he accomplished those miracles by his own power, but they were demonstrations of the power of Godhead, the Father as well as the Son. The Father endorses him with power, and the Father will soon endorse his resurrection and his ascension. This is the one who they claim as their God, bur sadly they have no right to do so.
