When we come to him by faith, we are changed, and we know we are changed. We know he has forgiven us. We know we are restored. We have a new moral strength. We are not perfect, but we are so much better than we were. We have new eyes in a sense. Before we saw only physical things; now the eye of faith we understand about a whole new realm, spiritual things. We understand about God, about Christ. We love to learn more about him as we study his word. We look forward to eternity and to heaven. We have new ears. We hear his voice in the word of God, and whatever he commands that we want to do. We take our instructions from the word, from him speaking through the Bible. We have new feelings. We love him. We desire the salvation of other people. We have new aims. We are walking now to heaven. We are not afraid of the end of life because we know that we shall cross from time into eternity, and we shall be with him.
