The rejected generation is given this superb, this wonderful appeal. ‘In spite of all I have said about you, if you will bring before me [your whole tithe]’ – ‘all the tithes’ could be better translated as ‘your whole tithe.
Let us as Christian people bring our whole offering to the Lord, not just part of ourselves. Let us bring our days, our energies, our service, our time, our provisions, our love, our sincere worship, and God will bless wonderfully. He will watch over us and look after us and we shall furthermore have security (verse 11) and we shall be internationally blessed (verse 12).
