All ten bridesmaids sat about and dozed. For five of them it was peaceful sleep, but for others it was a stupor of delusion.
Many move towards that final day thinking everything is all right. Some have a little light. They know there is a God in heaven; they respect him, but not enough to be worried about their sins, about their need for forgiveness, about securing salvation. Some say, I don’t do any great sins. I hope I will be all right. There cannot be much oil in their lamps, if they think it is that easy to get into heaven.
