How do they worship? ‘And they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of the LORD their God’, and they did that for ‘one fourth part of the day.’ For ‘another fourth part they confessed, and worshipped the LORD their God’, and then there's the great description of the different categories of worship that they followed. It sounds like six hours was reading the Scriptures in this festival. Some people think it's to be computed at three hours, but most say six, and there is the distinction between their confession and their worship.
