Proverbs 1:12
Comments
If you do not want wisdom then you live at any price. This is the picture. You get worse and worse. You start by saying, ‘Let us rob the highway. It does not matter what injury results from this.’ But you see the person who is not interested in wisdom is a person who lives at any expense morally among the people of God, and will go further. 'We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil.’ You are not interested in evaluating, in deepening as a person, in being a thinker. You are only interested in the trivial things of life, what happens to you, what you can get. You are interested in security. Here is the temptation. Do not be a thinker. You won’t be in any trouble, says the gang echoing this world, the corpse will be disposed of. There is no danger in this. Leave the word of God. This is the trap: the allurement of sin.
