‘Turn you.’ A great turning around is required to come to God. Christian conversion is not a small change; the whole direction of your life is away from him. It include your deeds, your words, and even your thoughts, your private inner feeling and attitudes. All of them are unacceptable to God and must be repented of. The implication is that we have not done this before. One lady said that when she was converted it was as if she had put on her contact lenses. Yes, she said, it really is a fallen world which can’t keep its promises. Now it all makes sense through converted eyes.
