Proverbs 2:21 Commentary and Bible Study

This promise is not just for this life but for the life to come. In fact, the land will not be fully enjoyed by the righteous until the meek shall inherit the earth. It points to the resurrection for it will be fulfilled in spite of death. The upright will dwell in the land even though they are disadvantaged and excluded in this world. God takes note of all evil done to his children and he will reverse every act done against them, so that it will be said that the way of righteousness is not only the more correct way but the more profitable way to go.
