Proverbs 2:8

What are the paths of judgment? They are the paths that require judgment to walk in them, judgment which the Lord gives to his people through his word. We have to walk with our own legs along the road to life and not be carried, and yet God gives us all the skill we need to make that journey.
Application
To walk the road to heaven, following Christ, requires a wisdom we do not have. There are enemies about who are intent on getting us to leave the way or destroying us in the way. The Christian is no match for these enemies. He struggles not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers, vastly superior powers. And yet God is with him to protect him and to limit what Satan can do to him. God preserves the way of his saints and ensures that not one fails to arrive safely at the end of the journey.
