Her lifetime’s work and sacrifice for all those around her is deeply appreciated. They have along record in their minds of all the good she has done form them, and they thank God that he has provided her in their lives. They know her by all the acts of kindness and compassion that have come from her, and they know that character is stable and reliable, and the good she has done in the past, she will continue to do. Those acts of kindness that her flowed so naturally from her have strengthened the bonds of love between them, and they rejoice that any parting from her at the end of this life will be renewed in heaven for all those that are in Christ. Her husband’s memory goes back further to the point where they set out on life together and agreed the principles by which they would live. Although they have changed over the years, those principles have not changed but they have held on to the word of God as their guide in all things. They give thanks that God has kept them and trust him to bring them both to their journey’s end. They marvel at his wisdom in their lives and look back on a lifetime of his wise providence towards them. Her husband has kept confidential the intimate matters between them and protected her reputation. He speaks well of her to others because he genuinely believes she has done well.
