Will I live long if I am a believer? The original promise with the fifth commandment was given in the context of the length of days the Israelites would occupy the land, a promise of stability for the nation. Solomon means the same thing. We will have success and productivity in the big things of life. Our lives will be full of accomplishments in the same way that a long life is full of accomplishments.
