Can he do it with his full weight bearing him down on that destructive surface? Can sin suddenly have no weight, no substance, no consequences? What will be the effect on a man who falls into this sin? Even if he is brought to repentance again by the Lord, he will suffer the long-term effects of this sin. His own wife will find it hard to ever trust him again, even supposing she has not left him as she might legitimately do. Let no man form an over intimate relationship with another man’s wife. It is a great danger for them to be revealing the more intimate details of their lives to each other. It is quite wrong for either to be sharing the details of their own married life with an outsider.
