Revelation 12:7. Retrace his steps undoubtedly battle on Calvary. Of course angels of God not involved in Calvary therefore widen out – hosts of God preparing the way for it, bringing gospel age. War centring on Calvary. Involves all the work of God. Effect of defeat verse 8 no place found in ‘Heaven’ the skies. This vision played out in canvas of the skies fought spiritually, neither on earth nor in heaven, in between battle includes fight during gospel age.revelation 12:7. Cast out. This is Calvary – how Christ, described in terms of Michael and his angels. Satan defeated. Underworld hasn’t come yet but in heaven singing as though we had already one.12:7. War in heaven. This is where John sees it. Doesn’t mean that happened there. Senior Archangel. Satan’s voice is condemned there. It is as if God has made a great mistake. He is to be judged but is determined to make sure all others are judged. But due to work of Christ, he can’t do that any longer. He can’t confront them any more. Doesn’t mean the world is about to be judged. Cast out insensitive devil judged.John 14:30. Prince of this world,. Now is to be destroyed. He has been conquered. Never was war. It is a figure of the war that happened. Powers of darkness fought. They didn’t – actually they just saw their defeat. No more influence. No more crying out. Happened at first and if all 4 earth you are an unbeliever devil come down.12:10. Now is come salvation. Christ can save us now and strength to save us. The kingdom of God with people in it. That great work of Christ. Here is the perseverance of believers. So when you look at the language of warfare though it does not apply to what evil spirits do, but chiefly to victory of Calvary.
