To the lukewarm church of Laodicea, with its backsliding and its nominalism, the Spirit issues this warning: their danger is great. How common is this state among us today, perhaps more than any other state! May the Lord help us heed the Spirit’s warning and to separate ourselves from a corrupt world and to guard our hearts from lukewarmness.
