Zechariah 1:17 Commentary and Bible Study

There is going to be a future for Jerusalem and we immediately see what it is. Some interpret this by saying God will yet set up a millennial kingdom and rule, but all he really says is that when Messiah comes he will choose to do it at Jerusalem. The city will be built with a great exhibition of mercy. But the vision speaks of not just Jerusalem but of ‘my cities’. Jerusalem is going to grow and become multiple cities. The aircraft is beginning to take off. The vision taking us beyond the literal, and moving into the realm of New Testament blessing.
